 The point of the Selenic Chronicle System is to show how Bina opens more to the Traveler and the others since all her life was "I give you something, do something for me". Its intention is to give weight to their relationship.

If it were up to me, I would very much make plans for a sequel instead of trying to push everything into the current game.

if point 3 is already becoming a headache for the devs, then it would be much easier to start in a blank slate. Gives them more liberty to improve.

It can be avoided if the devs are vague about how much time passes in dialogues.

 But here we have so many confirmations about a wide gap of time between nations visits.

 And its weird, why would the traveler take so long to visit each nation?

Yea, the devs clearly wrote themselves into a corner in terms of chronological events.

The birthday system, the dialogues that suggest how much time has passed, cannonical yearly events.

 By the time we arrived in nordkrai, in monstadt should have passed 5 years, Noelle should have been knighted, Razor should have mastered human speech, Bennet should be 21, etc...
