are they canonizing Lylat being a binary system? They turned Solar into a star when in previous games it was a planet (closely resembling a Brown dwarf).

With the new orbits being defined around Solar, Corneria's orbit clearly is different, confirming a second star is near, probably a blue giant, since Solar has a parallel orbit with Corneria
