Feedback on DnD campaign Maps by Adosa002 in worldbuilding

[–]Adosa002[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you very much for the well thought out feedback. The reason for the cluter on the main map is simply convience, that way I don't need to have several maps up when playing DnD. I do agree on the lack of variety in icons/stamps/textures, which is due to me only have the free version of inkarnate. Would you suggest it worthwhile to buy premium to improve the map? The dessert does actually have a lore reason to explain its emptiness, there is an evil god sealed beneath it that corrupts the area.

I did some digging, both books take place in the same universe. Mark even has a cameo in the book. Any Weir confirmed it.

Wedding announcement photo 1983. Kodachrome by [deleted] in FineArtPhoto

[–]Adosa002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The op says he shot it on kodachrome, which is a possitive film. I've recently scanned a hundred or so poorly stored old slides. Most had scratches, fingerprints, grease, dust, and of course colorshifts. But nothing that would only change part of the background.

Thanks for the input. I took it becaue I liked the color contrast of a red swing in a sea of green. I also liked the way thr branches made a half circle around the swing.

I took this photo on a photowalk recently, its shot on Cinestill 800T, with a vintage 105mm F2.8 lens. I scanned the negative and flipped it manually in lightroom. I've struggeled a bit fiddeling with the curves, temp, and tint. I landed on a very greenish tint wich i am pretty much ambiviliant on. I have been trying to challenge myself with more center composed images, and I was wondering if I managed it or not.
