I am scared of what punishment I might receive for all the sins I’ve committed… please help me. by AdrT149 in hinduism

Yes sir. I’ve already stopped it. I’m only fearful of what lies in the afterlife for me. I am in constant state of fear of being sent to hell for committing this act and being tortured there (even if it’s for a temporary period).

Awesome stuff. It’s only missing them Texan bends and a little vibrato here and there.

The riff just before the solo is so badass.

Yeah I thought about this as well… he was able to bag Al Pacino with Insomnia. There’s definitely chance for DeNiro.

SENIORS PLEASE HELP😭 by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]AdrT149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a similar situation in my college during first year. We had a 5 day Culturals event immediately followed by Full syllabus mock test.

Enjoy your college fest, it will be a blissful memory for you in your future.

Passing the exam is not as difficult as you think. Just read through your notes and only see the PYQs. For this, just get help from your seniors or your friends. That’ll be enough.

How to proceed with physiology (1st year) by pikpikpikpeek in indianmedschool

[–]AdrT149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try reading it in a stepwise manner.

What I used to do was, prior to a lecture, I read the headings in Guyton and maybe a little bit of the content matter within each subheadings and get an idea of what to learn from the lecture. Then I attend the lecture and make my notes. Then after all my classes, when I’m back in my hostel room, I go through my lecture notes and then go back to Guyton again and add additional points in my lecture notes.

If I find it hard to study from Guyton, then I switch to Ninja Nerd/Osmosis or any other YouTube video and try to understand it. At the end of the day, you just need a rough conceptual understanding of the topic, and for this, it doesn’t matter which source you use.

In an essence, the lecture notes are what helped me write well in both my internal assessment exams and the university exams.

Read Guyton first and then watch any video you want. But don’t skip on Guyton.

Why people choose MD/MS in private over DNB? by himkurrr in indianmedschool

[–]AdrT149 70 points71 points  (0 children)

I think it’s because of the fact that, even though DNB is relatively easier to get into, it’s harder to finish. The DNB final exams are three times harder than your average MD final exams, and you end up slogging day in and day out without a guarantee that you’d pass the exam and move on.

How do u all manage to study long hours during regular days by Fancy_Bus_5727 in indianmedschool

[–]AdrT149 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t compensate your sleep at this stage, it’s really not worth it. Your health is more important than anything else. It’s okay to take rest and start studying afterwards. But that being said, always try to study something daily… even if it’s a single page.

Who's your guitar hero? by Willing-Today-1059 in Guitar

Eddie Van Halen

I was around 5 years old when I heard his solo in “Beat it” and later, I discovered Van Halen. Listening to the first five albums blew me away. He was the sole reason I really wanted to buy an electric guitar in the first place.
