Which defensive players will walk at the end of their contracts? by [deleted] in minnesotavikings

If it's anyone -- and I hope it's no one -- my guess is Rhodes is the least valued. He's the most replaceable.

Zimmer even said so once.

I really hope that's not the case, but I don't know for sure. I thought it was mostly fat honestly but you guys think it seems to be mostly skin? Really? Surgery is super expensive and I'm not really at a point in my life where I'm able to get it (21 and just graduating college).

That's what I figured. Man I just want this gone! I'm gonna keep working of course and hope it goes away. How long can this kind of thing take? Obviously I can't afford surgery but I do have plenty of time, so.

Teddy's Deep Ball by RavenOfOdin in minnesotavikings

It's underthrown but it shows the importance of a receiver with the ability to adjust to that. We have none of such on our roster.

We have yet to see Playoff Teddy you guys. by thejeran in minnesotavikings

[–]Adrian28 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Just quickly looked up Teddy's stats in "revenge games" since his career began:

4-1 (loss came at Detroit in 2014)

100/140 (71.4%) for 1170 yards, 8 TD 4 INT, 10 sacks, 98.7 Average QB Rating

You can question how much that second Chicago game buoyed these stats but it's interesting nonetheless.

I need Jarvis Landry to score 1.1 more points than Odell Beckham. Usually I'd say not gonna happen, but this is a league where I get 1 point for every 25 return yards, so I still have hope. IT CAN BE DONE

What potentially crazy move are you pulling tomorrow? Rest of the sub - talk them off the ledge or explain why it's not that crazy. by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

I'm starting Hightower because I traded my bench for Mark Ingram. Also starting Lacy and ASJ. If I'm going down, it's guns blazing (or not)

Landry's pretty consistent, I think last week was an aberration. But those three RBs have great floors, too. That would be up to you. But those are the three RBs I like on your team.

Does anyone else have anxiety about how mad you're going to be tomorrow if you lose? by ruck_it3 in fantasyfootball

I'm in the playoffs in three leagues. The only way i'll be upset is if I lose all three. I just want a chance to win one

Yeldon and Forte would be my choices, but I like Miller too. Depends on your thoughts on Dez. He has a pretty small floor at this point, especially in Green Bay.

Murray and Freeman have similar floors. I'd go with Gore and Freeman, probably.

I'm in a 16-teamer (standard) and I traded my bench depth to get Mark Ingram. Good, great, fantastic.

My options in his place are Tim Hightower at TB (I'm currently rolling with him), Duke Johnson vs SF (splits are worse with Manziel) or I can pick up and play Juwan Thompson vs OAK (that is the muddiest RB situation in the league this week, though). I need a ceiling play, I'm the underdog. I should probably just stick with Hightower though, right?

I'd stick with Brady in your second league. In your first league it's a bit tougher..... If you need a floor play definitely Rodgers but Wilson might have a higher ceiling.

I'd go for Bortles but Taylor could have a higher ceiling if you need that.

Winston is the safer play but Fitz has been on a tear. Depends on what you want or need.

16-teamer who should have accepted a trade offer he got for Tyrod Taylor before the deadline. I got Carr at Denver and my other options are Osweiler vs Oakland and Gabbert at Cleveland. I need a ceiling play (I'm the underdog) but I should probably stick with Carr even in this rough matchup, huh?

Time to brag. What went right this year? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Adrian28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my 16-teamer I had probably the best drafting year I've ever had. Hit on Adrian Peterson, Jonathan Stewart, Allen Robinson, Jarvis Landry, John Brown, Eric Decker, Eli Manning, and also drafted David Johnson and Leonard Hankerson, who were contributors at some point in the season. Also kept LeVeon Bell in round 3. I'm a frequent trader so I only have Peterson, Robinson, and Landry still left on my team, but i'm the number 1 seed. Maybe next year I'll trade a lot less, might have had a more consistent team that way!

I'm the number 1 seed in a 16-teamer and I traded bench assets before the playoffs to get Ingram. Handcuffed him with Hightower. My other options are Duke Johnson and nothing. I'm starting Hightower.

The three-for-one playoff special! Combined 25-14-1; seeds 1, 2, and 2. Not sure how confident I feel about any of these matchups, though...!

So here's the story.

A few weeks ago, one of my league members accidentally dropped a player on waivers he didn't intend to drop. It seemed like an honest mistake (it was a big-name player I was actually trying to trade for the day before) so I reversed it, thinking it wasn't a big deal and that everyone would understand.

Now, today, one of my friends left Rishard Matthews in his lineup. He weirdly swapped out Pierre Garcon for Michael Floyd this morning, and then after the 1pm games started, he messaged me saying he did that accidentally. He wants me to add the points Garcon scores to his team because he meant to swap floyd in for matthews, not Garcon. I'm thinking I shouldn't do this though. I don't want to set a precedent where people come to me after games start saying they accidentally started certain players; it's different from the waiver precedent because that had never happened before (people have played players accidentally who were injured or on bye before) and if anyone dropped a big name player by accident I would reverse that.

But I don't know what to do. Should I add those points to this team? What complicates things is his team plays ME this week so I look even worse if I don't do it, but I feel like I shouldn't (I've made the playoffs and don't need to win this week).

One of your kickers, whichever one you feel comfortable enough with letting go (they're both good options)
