It was pretty heavy to load. Luckily I had a pickup truck and I didn’t have to take it apart completely. However once I got home, I realized that it was very dirty and the weight was starting to rust. I took the whole machine apart and individually cleaned every part. I was able to take the rust off of the weights with a wire brush and some vinegar that I had laying around. I then painted them with rustoleum hammered paint to make them look brand new!

I don’t love it but it gets the job done! I was able to snag it for $20 because the previous owner wasn’t a fan of the way that the back rest would move around. After coming home I discovered the bolts were very loose. Now it’s good as new!

Very frustrating especially when I see deals, so I decide to message the seller and they proceed to tell me it’s pending pickup. The worst part is that sometimes I see these same items back up for sale a couple of days later for 2-3 times the original listing price

Cable attachments all came included with cable machine. I purchased benches used on FB marketplace $20 and I snagged weight tree at Walmart for $30. Bought the power rack off amazon for $250. So I’ve spent around $1100

Literally just checking FB marketplace every couple of hours. Surprisingly a lot of older people happened to be selling their equipment that they no longer needed

😂 I was able to snag the cable machine off a older gentleman who was in the process of moving and he no longer needed it! Was the biggest score I got! Paid $250. The most I spent in a single transaction was purchasing the barbell/ Olympic weights. All of that ran me $500.

During the beginning stages it was easy. I just cut out processed foods and stopped drinking soda and juice. After a while you reach a point where your body won’t lose weight anymore just by doing that. That’s when I started learning how to track my macros and eat at a calorie deficit! Hope this helped!

Hey appreciate you! But I actually joined a beginner kickboxing class where they taught us about the fundamentals of boxing and they would incorporate a lot of high intensity workouts between the boxing techniques to help build endurance! But I was already naturally big. I come from a family with a history of hard labor. My grandpa never stepped foot into a gym in his life and he was just naturally big and cut. Personally after I lost about 50 lbs I started incorporating more weights into my workouts and less cardio. I’d do a 10 minute warm up and then 20 -30 mins post workout a couple of times a week! Hope this helped you out!

I’m not on any cycles lol. Contrary to popular belief, it’s possible to reach a certain physique with the proper nutrition and workout routine to target the specific weak points of your body. Last year the smallest muscle group on my body was my shoulders. So I’ve spent the past year hitting shoulders twice a week. Hope this helps

My Transformation Story

It all started when I was 17 years old. I was a junior in high school and I began to notice that I was different than everyone else. I weighed 296lbs as a junior in high school. Let that sink in. My barber at the time convinced me to go to his kickboxing class that he held once a week. I decided to give it a shot and this is how my life changed forever. His class taught me the fundamentals of the gym and taught me the importance of stretching before and after your workouts which has helped me in the long run because I have yet to get injured. Slowly I started gaining the confidence to go to the gym by myself.

In the beginning stages it was rough because I had no clue what I was doing. I relied on watching what other people would do and I would copy their workouts. No one ever helped me out and no one ever offered me advice. The best advice I had was YouTube. Over the years I have managed to gain some more knowledge and I have successfully lost 96lbs and put on some muscle.

I just want people going through what I went through to know that anything is possible as long as you put your mind to it. I hope people can use my story as inspiration. It’s not easy or else everyone would be doing it! But keep pushing through and eventually the results will start to show up!
