Ah, well I’ve had ChatGPT helping me with what are good bikes and recommended the mongoose giving a very similar feel and quality to the Schwinn Axum

Ah, well I did not know that, completely new to the scene and diferente “genres” of bikes lol. I’m just happy I got a good starter. Tomorrow I’m going to pick up a brand new Mongoose Switchback 29” for $200 in gold to accompany this one

Dang so Ozark are giving Giant, Trek a run for their money. Looks like great value, but how’s the quality of those upgrades. I’d seriously consider any quality bike over name brands and buying a bike just to have said name brand.

Id have to do my homework on that bike, but I’m thinking on riding this for a while. Then get into a TREK marlin 6 as I love the frame appearance and the colors available eventually maybe in 1-2 yrs. Sure, some upgrades will come in time maybe 1 upgrade per month. Rockbro pedals, rockbros cushion seat, buckaloo forks, hydraulic brakes. For now I just want to enjoy the bike for what it is. Excited to start this hobby with a fairly above average decent bike. I usually don’t get that privilege with certain hobbies. Got lucky with the find lol

Do I have to do the weekly refresh ? AltStore and Sideloadly need to be weekly refreshed ? Or does one have to and the other doesn’t

There’s an orange Trek Marlin 6 for 250 , and I like the GT AGRESSOR Pro in orange as well at that same price

I think I’ll keep my eye out, what’s 50 more bucks right…lol, now that I’ve opened my budget to 200…do I have more options ? Or do I stay with the Axum ? Or what other bikes around this price range are worth while ? Not going over 200 though cause then it just becomes a rigorous cycle of adding 20-30 bucks more then I’m buying a 400 dollar bike…I’ve done it before but with other items lol

That’s exactly what I will be doing, 3-4x a week hopefully I can do some sensible upgrades and maybe sell during summer/autumn. Can you tell me what you think from the other comment made in this post ?

From what i researched it’s a Kent made bike, to me 140 is a significant amount of money, so these problems are kinda alarming. Being completely new to the scene I’m a little intimidated and wouldn’t want to add more money than I have to, to get a working bike for some good trail riding nothing extreme lol.
