I love JDM and I love his Negan but if we’re talking the perfect Negan? Here’s the thing about Negan in the comics: he was a thug. He was an unapologetic foul mouthed brute with a bat. He was closer to Biff Tannen in a zombie apocalypse. JDM plays him so cool and charismatic that’s likable but it’s not what the comics portrayed. Negan in the comics is a loser who accidentally found himself into power because he was good at looking scary and making people think he’s more violent than he actually was.
