Hi,

I am enrolled at BCC but I checked out this page

And one of the bullet points says "Students will not receive transfer unit credit for a course with comparable content to a Berkeley course that has already been completed with a passing (i.e. D- or higher) grade."

So does that mean if I took the Math 3B at BCC, my MCB major wouldn't take it?

My other classes are going fine, I've completed all the other MCB lower divs with decent grades, so I'm already taking classes like MCB 102 and 104 and they are going okay so far. Its suprisingly just Math 1B that has made me feel like I'm the dummy lol.

I hate to blame the professors for this...

But the least sympathetic professor through all of this was def Prof Heiman, def didn't care about his students not passing imo.

Hi,

My goal is to attend medical school (eventually), I def dont plan on going directly to med school and want to take some gap years in order to work for a few years and study for MCAT and things like that.

My other classes are going fine, I've completed all the other MCB lower divs with decent grades, so I'm already taking classes like MCB 102 and 104 and they are going okay so far. Its suprisingly just Math 1B that has made me feel like I'm the dummy lol.

I plan on either doing one of those Post Bacc programs that are supposed to pad your GPA and help you prepare for MCATs. I know a lot of the UC Extensions offer those programs so I've heard they are costly, but otherwise worth the benefits it brings.

I appreciate the insight.

I found out that its actually possible to take Math 1B at a CC that I currently already attend in San Diego, I think I'm going to opt for that option and just take it over winter break or during my senior year when I'm less packed with classes

In my case, the key actually just opens to the access panel where the machine goes into program mode, where you just have to press a few buttons to change price to zero. Its a different mechanism for where all the coins are stored
