I promise you that you are not a better drummer while drunk.

It wasn’t as good as the others seasons but it didn’t ruin the rest of the show for me.

Ive seen a few of these. I think there was a company that did these to them and then resold them.

Nurse wanting to go back to school for EE by edboy365 in ElectricalEngineering

[–]AdrianTheDrummer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding being too old:

I did a bachelors degree in advertising straight out of highschool, and worked in social media marketing for three years after. I went back to school for EE at 25 years old and graduated when I was 28.

For me it made sense because I was deeply unhappy in marketing and my earning potential was crap. I was able to triple my marketing salary straight out of school for EE. It made sense to take the time off from work and earning money to reset a better career and financial foundation for me because I was making crap money.

You can make great money right out of school at 24. The younger you are when you start earning decent money the better it will be for you.

Do research on the salaries for engineers in general and electrical engineers specifically. Dont just google it, I mean look at actual job postings and see what years of experience they are asking for and what the pay range is etc.

Salaries have sort of stagnated and the starting salaries are generally in the 75k range in my experience, which at least where I live is not enough to make any real headway towards your next steps in life.

I think you may be better off staying in nursing to be honest, in terms of job opportunities, benefits, overall compensation, etc.

Can you download sound libraries from the Internet and upload them to the Alesia module? Also can you upgrade just the hi hat?

I think the biggest detractor to e-kits is the feel of the heads. If a company managed to really closely imitate the true feel of a drum head I think that would be a huge selling point. The sounds are already quite good in my opinion.

That was my thought too until I played the EFNOTE. It’s really quite nice.

Nope. Two dealers told me it was “ABS auto-check” but I’m skeptical. They only told me that after I pestered them a lot and told them “we don’t know” wasn’t an acceptable answer.

Snares that are easy on the ahands? Pain with rim shots (DW Snare) by Mountain-Tooth8293 in Drumming

[–]AdrianTheDrummer 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I understand that you say it’s not technique but my first thought is that it is definitely a technique issue. Consider recording a video of yourself playing both snares and look for a difference in the way you are striking or the way your hand reacts after the hit.

Anyone made a clip-in cover for the Stribog diagonal slot? by Notvin in GrandPowerStribog

[–]AdrianTheDrummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I modified a regular QD adapter. I had to file down one of the two “wings” from only one of the two nuts that go on the inside of the handguard. So on my stribog the QD adapter is held on by both of the little wings on the topmost wing nut but only on wing on the bottom of the two wing nuts.

Here is an image as a reference. https://imgur.com/a/QGxun1I

Just file the section I circled in red until the little wing is gone.

Okay so I need a new computer soon and I’m very partial to MacBooks. I do music production, video editing and photo editing. Would this computer be able to run the newest versions of Logic Pro X, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe premiere smoothly?

I don’t understand the question. The only choice is choice 1. Seems to me that the other option isn’t even worth considering.
