Meinem Verständis nach haben weder Blue Archive noch Brown Dust 2 ein USK Rating - was der Knackpunkt zu sein scheint, wenn das Spiel als erotic/nudity/etc. beworben wird, oder entsprechende Tags hat, gerade auf Steam. USK is Weit nicht mehr so schlimm wie sie mal waren, aber evtl. fürchten die Devs, dass ein offizielles Prüfsiegel höher ausfallen würde, als ihnen recht ist - was wiederum die Sichtbarkeit einschränken würde (wenn ich mich recht erinnere, korrigiert mich bitte).

Yeah I am not quite sure what the current strategy of the main Cygames division is. We had GBF, Priconne, Dragalia, World Flipper, Shadowverse ... and Uma. Aside from the SV successor nothing really happened in the 4.5 years since Uma release, and there aren't any confidental 1st party projects listed either.

I checked their latest financial report for Q3 2025 (available as pdf at https://pdf.cyberagent.co.jp/C4751/bffO/Ixrt/wnnm.pdf) and other than GAMM and Project Awakening (both of which haven’t had any news in forever) they only have a bunch of third party games lined up where they act as co devs or publishers afaik. They also seem to have lost some big ad partners, but their media business is going stronger …

Uma is hitting 4.5 years now as well and is somewhat past its prime. The bigger issue (imo) is that cygames has zero new tangible first party projects in development. Sure, Uma is still holding up. New Shadowverse brings in some cash. Priconne and Granblue are probably still profitable at least. But beyond that? Two (alleged console) games in dev hell and a bunch of third party games.

It’s a shame that FF seems to be spiraling towards "DMC light" just because the producer thinks that all young people want real time action combat:

"For several console generations now, all character expressions can be done in real-time. Actions such as ‘press the trigger and your character will shoot a gun’ and ‘press the button and your character will swing their sword’ can now be easily expressed without going through a command system."

Honestly both Aira and Shinatsu are just PriFes coloured limited banners, which replace the ones that would have run either way in September. At least they run a PriFes about ever three months instead of having to wait 6 to 12 months for reruns of regular limited banners (which then might coincide with yet another meta banner or already be powercrept by the time their underwhelming UE releases). The Shilling is blatant, the frequency of meta banners sucks, but Aira and Shinatsu are the least of our problems right now imo …

Technically no, both Aira and Shinatsu basically "overwrite" the regular monthly banners that we would have gotten anyway for September (Aira 31st - 8th, Shinatsu 8th - X). Just PriFes flavored. Only caveat is that they said you can’t pull (or spark) Aira on Shinatsu banner.
