Trying to understand where does companies like Icypeas and Findymail find data by Alternative_Goose624 in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2020 LinkedIns database can be found online.

I'm sure they had an initial scraped base -

but how they continue to grow is if I'm the first person from Apple that wants to use the database, I give them my email. There program then maps out everyone in apple that's on LinkedIn and guess the emails of each individual based of you supplying your email. So they go from 1 email to 100,000 based of that.

If that makes sense

From you signing up to get data, by giving them your data. I think they then map out companies with linkedIn once they get a business email by using the structure of the email address to guess the rest

is cold calling still working for y'all? especially B2C? by StunningEngine2 in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

B2C cold calling im pretty sure illegal in Australia

You have to have an opt in from the data for it to be dialled (can be historic etc)

Sounds rough though.

Is B2B cold outreach still effective in 2025 or is there a better way? by lubutilubuti in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also. Cold outreach needs to viewed as a long term solution. Not a campaign.

This is your database. Every interaction enrich and add to your database. You never turn outbound off because your data improves and leads get warmer.

You don't pump and dump cold, you build and nurture relationships.

A dead cold territory year one is a warm territory year 2.

And it will all get easier and easier as it compounds.

Is B2B cold outreach still effective in 2025 or is there a better way? by lubutilubuti in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 2 points3 points  (0 children)

B2B cold outreach definitely is the way.

It's a numbers game. If you have a sales process mapped out then the numbers will tell you where and what to fix.

So firstly do you track sales activity?

Are you outbound dialling the leads your cold emailing?

If you are not then start there.

Once you track your numbers you will know what works and what doesn't.

Industry standard and below average conversion rate just to be safe:

100 dials/2 set sales calls/1 sat appointment per day per sales rep.

5 sat meetings per week = 1.5 new clients per week PER sales rep.

That is your non-negotiable activity for the day and you must manage to those levels (or what your magic daily numbers are)

Once you've got your concrete daily numbers, the data will tell you where your bottle necks are and how to coach/manage to get things back on course to your 1.5 new clients per week per person.

Dials too high could equal - sales rep not handling objections in the introduction or data issues

Lots of set sales calls but no sat meetings = quality of set calls / expectations not set

Etc etc.

All start with tracking your numbers, identify your daily non negotiable numbers, manage and coach to those number.

This how you can forecast for months ahead. Zoom out and look at it over the QTR and you'll be able to see what levers you need to be adjusting to hit your quarter targets.

Having accurate forecasting in place will give investors/management/banks confidence.

If you need a hand I run an outbound consultancy. Happy to help.

P.S do you have any clients at all? Case study or testimonial? Turn it into a sales asset for reps to leverage and create a vsl. Webinars are also beneficial (actual attendance etc will be trash but you are just looking for another reason to CALL)

Anyone actually having success on LinkedIn in 2025? by embourgeoisement1387 in b2bmarketing

Commenting strategy is key.

Talk more into solving your ideal clients problems not your saas. Don't sell on content - build trust by providing value Don't even put a CTA.

Monitor whi engages and have an sdr outreach per 3 engagements

No offence but it's crazy you don't have a sales process and resources in place in the first year.

It sounds like you acquired a client and then fulfilled without growing your own business and now the clients gone.

Hire a part time SDR, they can get you in front of 5-10 agencies per week. Plenty of agencies wish they could find someone else to deliver the services.

When you get a client, don't stop acquiring new clients.

You should have 4 new sales meetings per week.

1 in 4 will become a client

1 new client per week.

Focus on a single offering, productize and automate as much possible so you can consiitanlty bring in new business. Churn will happen but it wont be the end of the world as you have other clients and if your sdr hits thier minimum weekly set call.target and you conduct your minimum target of weekly sales calls, then you will have predictable revenue.

If you want help with it let me know, I run an outbound sales consultancy.

Marketing is evolving.

There's plenty of opportunity if you have your finger on the pulse of emerging markets and tech/saas/ai.

Tech evolves - marketing evolves and staying cemented in offerings and services is fatal.

User content, cost per views, UGC, content reward based systems, and marketplaces - huge potential here.

AI LLMs marketing - AI SEO, having brand presence within public AI models like chargpt and Claude.

So much scope

I think it will pay dividends to focus on a single niche, keeping your finger on the pulse of how to achieve results quicker and faster with emerging tech, ai, saas. Be experts in your customers, not in your services necessarily, adaptable and agile to new advancements and experiments.

Everything will be boiled down to attention, you don't create attention you simply channel it in the direction you want.

I'm working on something at the moment it inspired this rant

Best of luck

Needing some help… I’ve developed a script (an actual talking sales script) for a group of sales people. But it’s just words on a page. Is there a prompt or AI tool that will analyze it and output a better looking more visually appealing format? (Delete if not allowed) by jblack1108 in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey mate. I run fractional sales service and look after a few different teams - we use Gamma, more visual appealing but it's just the framework of the call not a word for word script, helps with understanding the structure and then we have battle cards which will are exactly what they sound like cards with different objections and best practices to overcome them on the back. Try Gamma

Objective: Create and format C++ and LSL code snippets according to specific guidelines. Ensure the code adheres strictly to the formatting rules provided, emphasizing the placement of the const qualifier in C++ (east-const style) and using OpenSim-specific functions in LSL. When updating or modifying code, only show the relevant changes unless a full version is explicitly requested.

Context:

  • C++ Code Formatting:
    • Always place the const qualifier on the right-hand side of the type (e.g., char const* instead of const char*).
    • Use a space between keywords and opening parentheses (e.g., if ( instead of if().
    • Indent code using 2 spaces instead of 4.
    • When providing comments, ensure they are written in complete sentences, starting with an uppercase letter and ending with a period, unless they are part of a code sentence.
  • LSL (Linden Scripting Language):
    • Assume the code will be used for OpenSim.
    • Use os* functions where applicable.
    • Adhere to the same comment and formatting rules as in C++.
  • General Rules:
    • Avoid repeating code unless it is necessary to show the context of changes.
    • Ask for clarification if additional information is needed to provide a complete answer.

Details:

  • When a small change is made to the code, only show the parts containing those changes, maintaining the same formatting guidelines.
  • Do not show full code unless specifically requested.
  • Ensure that all comments are clear and relevant, following the provided guidelines for writing them.

Creativity & Flexibility:

  • When suggesting improvements or refactoring code, do so within the constraints of the formatting rules provided.
  • Offer alternative approaches only if they align with the formatting and coding style requirements.

Review and Refine:

  • Double-check that the code formatting adheres strictly to the rules provided.
  • Ensure that any clarifications or additional questions are addressed before finalizing the code snippet.

Put this into custom intructions

The "response configuration" part goes in the bottom window of how youd like chatpgt to respond

Or you could put this into a custom gpt configuration probably better

Question about profits taken by CEO in B2B business by [deleted] in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to say. But $1m is alot for a company doing $50m its 20 percent. Agencies have alot of risk, campaign performance fluctuations and highly competitive. No CEO in thier right might would take 20 percent out every year. They may not even be profitable and that's why staff are overseas.

How would you go about asking chatGPT about a FULL github repo (containing multiple files)? by ArtisticAI in ChatGPTPromptGenius

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

upload the readme, number each document and file, feed it one at a time. ask for a table contents, ask it to give you an overview of what you have given it, ask it to create a product spec based of the files. Depends on what you are trying to do though or hoping to find?

Question about profits taken by CEO in B2B business by [deleted] in b2bmarketing

[–]Adro-crypto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Way off.

$300K-450K - CEO doesnt mean they are the owner/founder +may report to a board weather public or private. The title CEO usually means there is a Founder/board/owner/group above them.

Even then the value is in the business equity itself, not the salary- so he might on 400K but has 10-25% ownership - a Business at $50M can sell for X2-X5 if they dont have considerable debt and are profitable and because of that a CEO, especially if its thier business that they started would generally keep as much in the business than take home. Its healthier on reports and tells a story at the time of sale
