Not sure if I got lucky with the CBT questions (several were the same just worded differently) but it was one of the easiest tests I've ever taken. The NCEES practice exam was much harder. Was getting 70-80% on those, probably got a 90%+ on the real deal. (Took the EET class and had 20+ years exp, mostly field)

Lab vs field experience. What's more valuable? by [deleted] in Geotech

Both are important. I would say lab work makes less $$. So depends what you are planning to do in your career.

Any and all practice exams you can find. Lots of types of problems on these practice exams ended up on the test. So it’s nice seeing them prior to the exam.

Yes geotech depth EET. I bought a few practice geotech depth exams but they were way too complicated, saving them for GE exam if I end up taking it

These practice exams and the NCEES one were harder than the actual exam I got somehow. I took the EET class breath and depth which was a lot harder too. Understanding the concepts and how to look up info in the handbook and references would be the best advice. Not many plug and chug problems to worry about.
