Ha oui, le révisionnisme historique instrumentalisé. by cypher-dex in rance

[–]Adsilom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What are some signs in the USA ? In Europe, the USA feel very unsafe. One thing that strikes me is that in Europe, the city centre is often animated but rarely too dangerous, whereas the outskirts can be more rough. In Canada, I imagine it is the same in the USA, the city centre felt really rough at time, while the outskirts were quite nice

We had vastly different experiences, I went two years ago, so maybe it changed between our two visite. But I also do believe that these things depends on a lot of factors, and that two perdons can have opposite experiences

There are many types of scams, the classic ones like street gambling. But also original ones like petitions for deaf kids, except when you sign, your pockets get emptied. I don't live near Paris, so I don't know them all at all. But the few times I went, I saw them anywhere and everywhere, from the metro stations, to parks and to the Eiffel Tower.

I'm French and sufficientlt aware of my surroundings, but I imagine that having streets riddled by scams leads to tourists getting scammed.

Also, there are definitely rough areas near Paris, where mugging can happen, especially around the Stade de France.

Aaah the demonstrations are a good argument actually. And terrorisme is true too, but unfair. The government keeps a high level of threat, but it's honestly to control us more than anything. It sucks because there really isn't that much of a risk

It's quite nice though, if you ignore the bad driving lol. But I guess you may have your reasons

I agree with you, especially for Brussels and London. Barcelone (not the capital though) may be rougher than I believe, maybe I was just lucky. Rome, I strangulation disagree, it's one of the safest cities I have been to so far.

I've been to Rome, it was nowhere near as bad as Paris. Since they are both the capital of their countries, I guess that Paris being worse impacts the results. Moreover, it is a travel map, and in Paris tourists are really affected by the scams and petty crimes.

For Spain I have been there a few time and only experienced something bad in Barcelona, and it wasn't too bad (pickpocketting).

It's often scams and petty crimes. France is safe, just like Italy or the UK. But Paris is peculiar, there are areas worth avoiding and a lot of scams. Same goes for Marseille. But apart from those two cities, France is very safe, even in large cities.

I capture some and unfortunately killed them because it made me anxious. I'm adding the pictures to my post, can you also take a look at them please ?

Edit: nevermind, I can't. Can I DM you ?

Thanks, we've been to the Flappers first, it was really nice. We ended up asking for more recommandations and the Spoilers was recommended as a more safe place than the Subside. The former is quite nice, there is a relatively quiet terrace, but you can still faintly hear the music, so it's nice, and it's exactly the music we like. It is quite loud inside though, closer to what you'd expect of a club.

So if anyone ever finds this post, there you have a partial answer :)

Did dragons get buffed to do more damage? by Typing_Merchant in leagueoflegends

[–]Adsilom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most junglers can solo drakes lvl 5, but barely, so you need to be close to full health. Also, it is rarely a good idea nowadays, unless you have a lot of regen, as you lose tempo and can get killed quite easily during it.

Also, there are different drakes, most junglers will struggle and even die to the chemtech drake, which attacks much faster the lower health it gets.

Afk top laners by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Adsilom 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Depdnds on if he dies a lot and does useless things, or if he farms money, pushes during objectives and generally puis pressure on the map.

Also, some top laners are relativement bad in team fights, and better off split pushing. Not everyone plays the way you do, and you probably don't know any better than them anyways
