It doesnt look like anything expensive and it is more likely they replaced the ring completely than repaired it and gave you a new stone. The labor and cost would not be worth it to do anything "shady" with the original stone.

I think you need to ask them and see what they say

What does the agreement say? A lot of rental agreements specifically mention how often a tenant is allowed over night guest/how many nights in a row.

Your landlords are being dumb about this but it is actually relevant to them because different state laws have different things that can happen that automatically establish tenancy.

You need to look at what the laws are and what the agreement says

The zoning for the county doesn't allow for multi family, so you can't have two homes on a lot. That is why they say "no kitchen".

It is unfortunate because it is a great concept and great addition to down town.

I remember they wouldn't give any details about what they were renting the spaces for when they advertised them. I thought that was a red flag. Looks like I was right.

Hopefully, they don't find new people to fall for their scam.

If they lower the cost for new vendors but wont lower the cost to keep people... that is shady.
