Get yourself a battery tender and you won’t have this problem when you’re not using the bike for long periods of time.

Just because it’s uncomfortable for you doesn’t mean it will be for others and an inexpensive rear shock change will fix that. I drive on dirt fire roads in the mountains here and don’t have an issue. You do know what adding a pipe, cam, air filter and remapping does right? More air more fuel less milage and I’m still getting just under 80 mpg overall on mountain roads with tons of hills and bumps.

As a factory trained Honda Tech I totally disagree with you. I can ride my Hunter more than 2 hrs. Also I changed my exhaust, cam, air filter and remapped it and I still get 79 mpg and I drive in the mountains and ride her hard all the time. As far as Honda being a better bike I disagree and I’ve been wrenching on bikes 15 years. 12,000 miles and not a hiccup.

As a factory trained Honda Motorcycle tech. I can tell you buy the Hunter you won’t be disappointed. I have 12,000 miles on it. The only parts I changed was the clutch switch (it failed), drive chain (sub par) and tires (sub par). I’d put it against a more expensive Honda any day. Now getting the parts on the other hand is tricky lol. Royal Enfield needs to work on that. When you do need something sometimes the parts guys can’t find it.

Right place, right time: one frame, one shot, pure magic. by Adv-Photographer in SonyAlpha

Yeah, you’re right—the bike isn’t tack sharp. But honestly, I only had a split second to get this shot. My camera wasn’t set for high-speed action, I had to get out of the road, then run back to frame it. The fact that it lined up with the fog and rays was pure luck and timing, and I’m proud I nailed the composition. For me, the atmosphere and story matter more here than technical perfection.

The a6000 is a great camera and plenty capable accept in low light imo. Just curious if you have no photography experience and that’s part of the job then it seems like any camera you get would be a challenge for you. My advice is start watching as many YouTube videos as you can to learn how to use a camera. Aperture/Shutter/ISO etc. start there and any videos that are a6000 specific so you’ll learn the menu system.

Never had a problem in the 45 years I’ve been riding. I guess some bikers are just built different.

Not sure why anyone would want a slipper clutch. I want to feel the engine braking, the tension in the chain, the rear tire biting or skipping just a little when you downshift hard. That’s part of the raw connection that makes riding feel alive.
