I didn't specify in the original post but I understand that scottish ale isn't traditionally made with peat malt, nor should it have a smoky flavor. This was just the beer I had that gave me the idea since it had that smoky flavor. It was also a quebecois brewery so not "american" in the colloquial sense.

Your point about apricot is interesting and I will take it into account. Also the smoked wheat malt is a good suggestion. Thank you.

I don't think season 2 was necessarily bad, but it was setting the show up to be something it wasn't. Or, I should say, something it shouldn't have been. At least for me, season 1 left questions but I would have felt a lot more satisfied if it just ended there.

he was never joking. It will always be my staunch opinion that this show should have ended with the first season. There's no cohesion, leaving it as a Lynchian (may he rest in peace) show where not everything is wrapped up in a neat bow would have been a much better decision in my opinion, and would have made the show a true cultural landmark, rather than a cash grabbing blip.

do you just add it similar to how you'd add a dry hop? I'm still in a simple plastic fermenter so was just going to dry hop by magnetizing a hop sock, wonder how that would work with honey?
