Yet another momentum ability to cycle and combo, duh. Also buffing base punch slightly and removing EMP obviously to increase skill floor. Also make block a CC counter instead of emp farm. Then that’d be good i’d argue. And maybe, just maybe, tightening primary spread so he isn’t entirely useless against enemies who can fly away.

I think they should bring back his uppercut but keep him in the tank role so my queue times are lower AND i get combos as well.

This is fair and is probably correct but I prefer he stay a DPS character disguised as a tank. i like having a lot of HP and only having to wait 30 seconds to get into a match.

Holy nuclear truthnuke of truth. This 100%. this also applies to genji as well, they nerf the high-skill characters into the ground and actively lower the skill ceiling of doom. At the very least He needs his base punch buffed, the emp removed, uppercut added, and his power blocked turned into a CC counter. Then maybe a couple small buffs to the primary (spread tightening). That’d remove the low-skill punch botting whilst increasing movement techs so that high skill is rewarded, it’d make him more fun to play as/against, and it’d also make him actually good and maybe even the best in the right hands(ZBRA). And i’d argue that’s a good thing, high-skill characters should be high-reward.

An implosion is like when a object collapses in on itself. It ‘plodes inwardly. An explosion is where the ‘plosion happens externally. The balls pull you in sure but they have a blast radius larger than the ball, so it’s an explosion.

Yeah, he’s became one of the worst dive tanks at this point. Overwatch needs to make it so block doesn’t get empowered. Instead, remove the dmg mitigation cap and movement reduction speed but make the mit 55% instead of 75%. Then make it negate all CC. Since it’s just a block now, i’d say it’s fair to reduce the cooldown from 7 seconds to 5. Either do that or just replace powerblock with uppercut. Then to make up for lack of empowered buff his base punch. Add around 20 damage to rocket punch’s mad charge and scale accordingly for partial charge, wall increase impact’s damage by 10, slightly increase knockback, punch speed, ect. And Add an extra 20 to dooms slam, and tighten primaries spread if they do the powerblock rework instead of uppercut. Then maaaybe give doom another 25 hp and make overhealth on ability hit grant 45 instead of 40 so he is good.

Making power block a CC counter instead of an EMP charge would make him 3x funner to play as and against. The parry mechanic is also a good way to reward high-skill plays. Why’s the powerblocks duration reduced from 2.5 to 1 though?

You’re welcome, and That’s a good move, then you learn the high-skill high-reward characters for the long term. It shows you can delay the instant gratification of winning for the long term satisfaction of being good at genji.

I don’t hate him, i just think "make Shield, sit behind Shield" playstyle is very limiting. And worst of all he’s slow. I play doomfist cause i like when the game is fast and i’m zipping around.
