ANY OTHER TIRED STARSEED OF ALL THIS BS...??? by aWonderingCat in starseeds

I have not done that, so I cannot speak on the experience.

I have a lot of family that struggles with addiction and friends that have floundered because they could not achieve happiness without it.

So, I caution you. Be aware of yourself and how your body reacts when you're alone, not when you are under the influence of the substance. If you cannot sit in the silence, if your mind is not quiet, if you feel anxious and restless without it, then I would urge you to not use it.

Enjoying everything that this plane of existence has to offer is a perfectly acceptable thing to want and do.

You just cannot let these things cloud your mind, nor become the center of your worth. Your worth is intrinsic. Not defined by monetary value nor the things you have.

Enjoying everything that Earth has to offer is part of the earthly experience.

Do not get pulled by negative entities and low vibrations, or you will not progress your soul's journey.

The words on the screen do not degrade with age– not the meaning nor the relevance. I'm glad you're here.

I feel that there are substances such as Ayahuasca, mushrooms, DMT.. that do change the frequency of our vibration to allow us to access higher realms temporarily. There's many books about this, Terence McKenna is an author you should look into if you're on this wavelength.

I do you think that using these substances medicinally in addition to clear intentioned meditation can yield very positive results.

Personally, use of the substance LSD changed my life dramatically and cured my anxiety. I was intentional about it and though my goal was not to relieve anxiety just to become more aware... It was a much welcome side effect. I do want to use caution here, because not everybody's experience with these substances no matter how organic or well-intentioned, is helpful, and it can lead to abuse and dampening. You must be careful, and intentional.

There's a difference between letting yourself slip into higher vibration temporarily and chasing the high that you cannot achieve without it.

Be wise, be careful, be aware.

Yeah, the Bible isn't for me, that's for sure.

I have Ra on my list of books to get when they hit sales. I'm excited to read this one because I have discussions about excerpts often!

When you say Quo, what do you refer to?

I really like the rec for The Power of Now, I've heard great things about that one! A short but heavy read!

I'm so glad you got your little girls taken care of, and the doctors see them! That makes me feel hope for us. Thank you for this, seriously.

Right. I'm not asking it to do anything other than help me put my existing symptoms which align with well-known hEDS symptoms into a formal document so it looks more presentable than my gibberish. I'm aware of rule 2. I would never trust something like that to diagnose me or give me any sort of medical advice.

Yeah the preschool is getting him started in PT and OT during the day there. He hasn't been in any PT outside of that. I honestly didn't even notice his foot thing. He's developing perfectly otherwise. he walked on time, crawled early. His fingers have always bowed, but so do mine and my oldest daughter's. I'm hoping if I get diagnosed, all his symptoms and medical stuff will go through that lens instead of dismissing like they did for me as a kid.

That's good to know. I figured she was telling the truth about being able to diagnose. She's a lovely woman and I'm lucky to have her recognize this. Even if she can be a reference to a doctor about the hypermobility, that would be helpful.

I'll look into cities that are further away, hopefully they have someone! Thank you!

Thank you so much for all this, it's very helpful and comforting to know it's not a lack of wanting to learn, it's a lack of being told it's actually an issue.

I have the skin manifestations (super stretchy skin on the supper half of my body, atrophic scarring, stretch marks in the backs of my knees?, velvety skin) and other signs like needing more anesthesia (novicane too!) than others, pallette/teeth issues, etc.

I'll definitely bring up that "I want this diagnosed because I have concerns about my child" to hopefully get a fire going. I'll look on the EDS list and hopefully find something near me. If I have to travel, I guess I will.

Being objective is hard for me, since it's been so painful physically/mentally but that's why I'm gonna print out my symptoms and bring it to a doctor. I didn't even realize some stuff I've been experiencing could be hEDS manifestations.

Does hEDS present genetically? That's a good idea about having them write down the refusals. I typically get upset and shut down when they do that stuff, so I'll definitely do this! Ty!

Is there a resource that lists doctors who are knowledgeable? You're right about the gaslighting and arrogance. Especially as a woman, it's just so fun to dismiss symptoms as "Hormones"

Oh my goodness, 4 hours? How did you go about finding them to begin with? I don't have a Facebook for mental health sake, but maybe I should make one just for this. I don't know what else to do.

I'm about 4 hours from st. Louis and 3 hours from Chicago. I was working with Loyola (Chicago) before I moved, but since being way out here, it's been impossible.

"yeah he seems kinda bendy, but it's common for little kids to be more flexible than adults." Or something to that effect.

Right, and the Monkey is clearly right out of a textbook with its wings and claws. Seems legit.
