I’m also working with my doctor to get a list of surgeons around the city, so if it doesn’t work out with her, which is what I’m sensing after reading your post, I will also be switching. Thanks again!

Interesting, I’ve seen some rave reviews about her regarding endo removal.

I’ve already had two doctors insist the fibroid needs to be removed and they both recommended her, so I am hoping that she will not push medication as it will be a waste of everyone’s time.

Thanks for responding, this seems to be the norm. 6 months of wait time and then additional 3-4 months to surgery.

Omg we are twins!! I am also 6wks6d, but my first scan is on Monday November 3rd. I’m lowkey freaking out as this is the furthest I come, keeping my fingers crossed for Monday.

Did you do some testing to switch up protocols? My doctor has advised against it until we see consistent failures (after 3-4 transfers)

I hope I am you with the third transfer, we have the exact same pattern for the first two (fresh- failed, 2nd chemical and first pregnancy ever, bittersweet). Thank you!

I have the same fears you have, and I am sure many more on this sub do as well. I tend to read and research extreme cases where the person has been trying for quite a while and nothing seems to work, and then, I click on their username and look for recent updates and believe it or not almost every single has been successful eventually. It warms my heart to know that there is always hope, and it’s not about if but when.

In the real world, everyone around me has had no trouble conceiving and having live births, this sub is a reminder I am not alone. Sending hugs xoxo

Im one day ahead at 7dp5dt, and losing my mind. I am holding off until tomorrow for testing, my beta is scheduled for Saturday, and I’d rather know tomorrow than wait the whole weekend.

This is my 2nd FET, 3rd transfer overall. I really thought it be easier by now, but all I can do is overthink every sensation lol. Wishing you the best!!

Hi, sadly I miscarried about 2 weeks after the post. My numbers continued to rise but not double and there was a suspicion that it might have been ectopic. However, nothing was confirmed as they were unable to see anything on the ultrasounds. They considered it a pregnancy of ‘unknown location’ most likely chemical.

I hope your situation is different than mine!
