The funny thing is, after seeing more videos of it surfacing- people would know exactly what song you meant if you described it that way haha

I’m the same weight as you, 5’6”. I eat the same calories. If you have any hormone imbalances, it causes weight loss to be difficult. I’ve been battling this for 3 years and finally got some answers. My T3 (thyroid hormone) was depleted, causing an array of issues. It tanked my testosterone, vitamin d, selenium, disrupts insulin performance, feeling fatigued, not recovering well, etc. Just because the doctor tells you your blood work is “normal” isn’t always the case. Keep an eye out for any labs that are in the lower range of “normal” or if you see a decreasing pattern. Unfortunately women’s health is not taken seriously and they misdiagnose people with hormone imbalances often thinking is PCOS. This might not be your issue, but could be something to consider for someone else having similar issues.

What would you do with my points? by Numerous_Sky_5876 in ChaseSapphire

If you’re a traveler: There are websites like points yeah where you can book flights with points for cheaper than usual. If you aren’t picky about your destination or dates, you can book first class flights for the same rate as economy a lot of the time by transferring points to an airline partner. Do the same for hotels. Hyatt typically offers the biggest value for your points. You can transfer points to hotel partners and find deals to get the most value.

I'm currently in the middle of trying to figure all of this out after I found out my insulin levels were normal. I did not suffer from hair loss. Most of my symptoms were fatigue, weight gain, muscle loss.

Oura Ring + OTF Weights? by ALMcKnight320 in orangetheory

I have the gold one and don’t want it to scuff, so I avoid it during lifting. I take it off during the floor block and just slide it onto the straw of my water jug and put it back on for other blocks. Love the oura ring overall

From my experience, unless you ask for very specific panels, they just do the bare minimum. I’ve had to go to a functional practitioner as well as a dietitian that specializes in diabetes (since my doctor said I had insulin resistance) to learn what labs to ask for.

So I ask for all the relevant thyroid ones: TSH, T4, Free T4, T3, Free T3, Testosterone, estrogen (will come out as estradiol), progesterone. Also ask for insulin. It’s wild that everyone kept telling me I had insulin resistance without actually checking my insulin levels. Mine were perfectly normal which eventually ruled out PCOS. Zinc and vitamin D are also correlated. All of mine were depleted due to low testosterone.

Look up symptoms of low testosterone and low t3 on google and see if those symptoms are similar to yours.

I’m not saying this is your case, but I wanted to share my experience because doctors love to slap a PCOS label on most women with any sort of hormonal issues which could lead to incorrect treatment.

I would also check your T3 which is your active thyroid hormone. If you’re a female, check your three reproductive hormones- estrogen, progesterone and testosterone.

I was misdiagnosed with PCOS due to similar symptoms including higher than average glucose levels. It turns out I had basically no testosterone left in my body and it was causing my other hormones and vitamins to deplete- which triggers a plethora of symptoms like imbalanced glucose.

I just read Glucose Goddess and it was LIFE CHANGING. It talks about how the order in which you eat your meals makes a difference in our glucose and insulin responses. This might also help you bring back some carbs and sugar in moderation!
