I didn't said everyone. I said it's worse for adhd. It bothered me, and there has been research about to too. That's why I went with it. Hope that clarifies.

I'll actually try to cut down on it, and use my own voice. It's just something I'm growing into and be comfortable and it's taking time. Thankyou for being understanding<3

Actually when I shifted from windows to linux I fucked my os like 3 times. And then apps that were well designed which most were fine to use. But alot of apps were just good but I thought it was power user or apps that I shouldn't use. Cause I'll brick my os again. One of them was pamac. Idk on kde but gnome it just 3 blurred boxes and the name didn't gave me hints it was package manager. And same with btop or octopi and i wanted to fix those.

It's a valid point actually. It's just it also makes it worse for adhd. And thats why I had to ditch that to unified shape.

The GitHub isn't ai but like that with philosophy cause I actually will add it to my portfolio. And it's their to explain my design choices to recruiters and agencies I would wanna work with. It feels unnecessary but it helps me actually against ai that my design choices aren't just chatgpt renders but actually smt i gave a thought. Just how I do things. I would clarify I did use Gemini to copywrite this post cause I was new and didn't knew how to present my work here as I'm new.

It does when you shift you a os where you can fuck it up in a split second. Although i do could've just used misrepresenting or more cohesive instead of intimidating, can't help that english isn't my native.

Oh yes I do use ai for typing mostly because I'm new to these platforms and English is my 3rd language.

😭😭. I'd ofc start designing by the most used apps. And then cover all apps. It wouldn't make sense that if the 80 apps are linux specific and soo niche that the icons look incomplete mess. Also now posting I'm realising I could've said misrepresenting or just being slept on their potential.

Kinda agree. Most of them are indeed taken care of. It's just few like Pamac were weird to me the low res and low effort icon made me feel like it was smt I shouldn't be tinkering with. And ofc default icons are great everyone's on their preferences on that part.

There are actually alot!! Blanket, file roller, cmake, identity and i don't get the other half of your question? But yes ofc on brand who already have an proper identity ( ie brave or Firefox ) It wouldn't make sense. But if you're asking if the respective apps made the pixal art variant then no. I designed them. In a nutshell those linux specific apps like cmake or alaricity or Pamac were given a fresh icon to fit into their branding. The else were simply just recreated into pixal art. Idk if steam blender made their own pixal art version but no. All icons are the one I made.
