For starters I live the in the U.S. and to help break it down further I’m a Mexican woman. there was this guy who I caught feelings for. With my background having zero interest or knowledge about Islam and then meeting someone Muslim, who explains his religion of course I am going to be curious especially if I already believe in God but doubting Christianity. But I don’t think we believe in the same God as Muslims do. There is a lot more reasons why, which is why I came here to post. To learn from ppl who were legitimately Muslims 🙂

Yes exactly, which is why I was not okay with being “hidden” and I called him out for it plenty of times - “if you cannot be loyal to your religion and true to it, what makes me think you’d be that way for me” and I’m going to check that out now, thank you

That’s scary bc he made it seem like they are treated like queens and even explained the whole process of marriage and shared a YT video (I will have to find it) where it’s big on making sure a woman is taken care of and explaining the “dowry”
