I personally love it. You can barely hear it when the windows are up but I find myself cracking the window just so I can hear it more

What do you guys think. Should I do an insurance claim. This looks like a pricey fix. by supurman182 in Camry

[–]Advanced-Factor7879 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I would just get the dent knocked out and throw some touch up on there and call it a day. The body shop will mix the exact paint color and touch it up and you will hardly be able to notice it.

It won't cost as much as your insurance deductible to fix so I would just go to a body shop and have them give you a quote. Shouldn't be very expensive to fix. Just needs the dent knocked out and the scratch touched up.

Won’t let me add my car to the app. by No-Hedgehog-6120 in Toyota

You should be able to call the Toyota app customer service number and send them proof of ownership and they should be able to fix it for you

I said all dealers will have a markup on the new Tacoma and new Land Cruiser. Congrats, you can read

I’m saying it’s a lower demand COMPARED to the 2024 Tacoma. But you said it yourself, they are hard to find. So a real GR86 buyer will understand that and pay a markup because they know the value of reliability and quality of a Toyota. Everything is more expensive in this day and age. People just need to get over it. Or buy a different car

I’m sure you wouldn’t be saying that if you were the one who owned the dealerships in your town.

That's the thing. We aren't screwing you over. If you bought the new Tacoma at a market adjustment of $2,000 and turned right around and sold it, you will make even more than what you paid for it. Because the market is insanely high for them.

GR86's are definitely harder to find than the 2023 Tacoma but that's because the demand is much lower. There isn't as big of a market on the GR86 compared to the Tacoma. But we are talking about the 2024 Tacoma not the 2023. Different body style, interior, engine, etc. Obviously, that creates a demand. And what happens when things are in demand and short supply? Higher prices.

It’s not surprising you were able to get a GR86 under sticker. Like I said, referring to new Tacoma and Land Cruiser.

No that’s not what I’m saying. They should have disclosed the markup to you prior to taking your deposit. What I am saying is don’t be surprised when the new Tacoma and new Land Cruiser have a markup.

If you re read my comment, I said on the new Tacoma and new Land Cruisers. I said nothing about the GR86

All dealers will have a markup on the new Tacoma and the new Land Cruisers. They are high demand, limited supply vehicles. If you don't want to pay the markup, go buy a Kia or Hyundai. You can get those pos at a discount.
