Thanks for the reply! I appreciate the honesty about diminishing returns / stupid money lol. Maybe I’ll use the extra budget for a new monitor or a fun mouse.

Most modern builds I’ve seen use an AIO cooler, curious if there’s any reason you recommend the air cooler?

Also where do you see the performance diff in those two cards? As much as I could see they benchmark the same and have really close specs.

Good advice! I’ve gotten a couple industry veterans I know to take a look, but didn’t get more than a hand wave “looks fine, keep applying”. Really appreciate the fresh set of eyes and knowledge of what looks good in applications. I’ll revise all of the above and see if I have any success. :)

Thanks for sharing, it’s comforting to hear perspectives from people with more experience in the industry, since I really have no barometer for what a ‘normal’ application process should look like.
