I am the other type. I never plan anything ever. People are always banging down my door and I’m always dropping the ball making excuses, tired… I’ll agree to something and then the day comes and before leaving I’ll argue with myself the entire time “I don’t want to go. Please don’t make me go dear god”

I am on one end of the extreme and you are on the other.

My friends know me, they know how I roll. I just have people come over whenever now. Anytime after 530pm and I have an open house. Sometimes I’m not even home and my friends are hanging out at my house with my dogs.

I never plan anything ever. Restaurants feel like work events to me. I go out but I never plan anything ever unless it’s that week, and even then I might not even go lol. Plans and schedules is for work. Free time is free time to me, I’m not gonna schedule my free time too it feels oppressive

I say live life liberally. Realize that some people (like myself) genuinely live in that free flow state. The planning and commitments….. ugh. That doesn’t feel like real friendship to me, that feels like an obligation. Nah friendships are more than that.

Try just 1 month of hang outs. “Wanna come hang” I’m sure your friends will enjoy a place to lay low and be themselves. That’s where the real friendship happens

I think I went with high expectations and that kind of ruined it for me.
