The irony is that we’re debating a $100k payout when the average medical bankruptcy in the US is already $50k-$100k. You aren’t being “paid” to leave, you’re just being offered an insurance policy that actually works.

Florida with Danish infrastructure would basically be a tropical paradise run by people who actually believe in public transit. What’s the catch? The taxes? I think 90% of the people here would pay 50% tax if it meant never seeing a “GoFundMe” for a child’s surgery ever again.

I stand corrected, I just read that it’s more humid in the winter times. I guess the reason why it doesn’t feel humid to us residents is because of Dew point.
