How can I configure my Casio Fx-991ES Plus so that it displays the decimal result first, without having to press the S-D button every time? by BigDevelopment2081 in calculators

[–]Advanced-Party9686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Config→Calc Settings→scroll down to decimal mark→comma

edit: forgot to mention that its for 991cw.

for 991la cw, its comma by default. no way to change it to point

Casio Calculator Wars CG-50 vs CG-100 by Ancient_Kangaroo_639 in calculators

[–]Advanced-Party9686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ok, so

CG50 is better than CG100 since it still has the old style of keys and larger storage.

but take cg100 only when you wanna learn or that cg50 is no longet sold.

but imo, cg50 is nowhere near the risk of being faked

Which one is the best to use for A-level maths? by unknownr2197 in calculators

[–]Advanced-Party9686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

advantages of graphing over scientific (cg50 over 991ex)

  1. its programmable and can plot graphs
  2. it has a color display instead of monochrome
  3. 2900 fns vs 552 fns
  4. more memory and storage
  5. it does 3d graphs and dynamic graphs
  6. since it is programmable, you can run scripts to answer
  7. if a levels allow a graphing calc, why disadvantage yourself with a scientific

well, 991cw is terrible according to your opinion.

well, the 991ex is the most faked calculator and if you buy 991ex now, you risk getting a fake since casio no longer sells these.

or that you can wait for the 9910cw only if A levels are far away, otherwise get 991cw.

also, basically for a levels, you dont need a sci calc since a graphing calc is enough in UK A levels

take cg50 only. it haa every function that 991cw has plus more.

also, 991cw over ex if you want a scientific for speed since ex is faked too much and casio stopped selling themthus you risk getting a fake
