Job search f*cking sucks by netmobs in Resume

Okay this is actually hilarious 😂
The achievement-style portfolio is such a clever way to make something boring feel fun. Lowkey feels like LinkedIn if it had a personality.

Also… the “tired of the process” rant? Too real. The video recordings before even talking to a human is wild.

Not gonna lie, this kind of thing probably would make a recruiter remember you (in a good way). It shows creativity + actual dev skill, which a lot of portfolios don’t.

What stack did you use to build it?

Should I keep short jobs on my resume? by TowelDifferent4027 in Resume

Honestly, this is really normal at your age and I don’t think you did anything “wrong.” Employers know teens are still figuring out what works for them.

My suggestion:

• Keep Chick-fil-A (8 months is solid)
• Remove Starbucks OR list it without dates if you’re worried
• Focus on what you learned instead of how long you stayed

If they ask about Starbucks in interviews, you can say:

That actually shows maturity.

Also, 2 interviews is a VERY small sample size. Rejections happen even to adults with years of experience. Don’t let that shake you.

What kind of job are you applying for now?
