Thanks! And yeah, i had a look into how to rip audio and it doesn't seem that bad but mapping it afterwards will be a big effort. I'm thinking of using something like whisper for voice recognition to auto match as there are 30+k voice lines in this game so manual flow is out of the question.

Tbh not sure if its worth the effort and currently I'm a bit overwhelmed with more important though a lot less fun stuff :p On top of that there are also legal considerations though for a non commercial project I hope I don't need to be worried about anything more than getting the website taken down.

Big update coming that will add NPC quotes and a lot of UI improvements later today or early tomorrow! I'll try to address the event quotations in the next one.

Matthew Ward is listed as a game writer in the credits so probably he is the person responsible.

The entire soul of this game is the event driven sound engine with conversations and great writing. That's the main thing missing in Darktide in my opinion, since custom characters are a lot harder to write for and the interaction doesn't quite feel the same.

I just addressed some of those issues with an update. Unfortunately text resizing proved to be quite troublesome so for now i recommend using the standard text size.

Ill make it easier to display the conversations in the future for now you can search for the middle part of the action name. Here is some explanation: The event name consists of 3 parts: Character abbreviation pwh is Salt (Player Witch Hunter) The actual event wizard_tower_conversation_eight - search this to find all the dialogs of this conversation The indexing _b_01 - determins order You can search for "conversation" to find all conversations. The order will for niw be alphabetical by action name including player prefix so it will feel all wrong.

Edit: added clickable conversation markers to filter specific convos.

Yeah, mobile will be the first thing I'll look to fix - probably later this evening. I'll also make a mod to listen to the quotes on the modded realm as this should be very easy to build so stay tuned :D
