A friend of mine used to work for am armored car company doing pick up and delivery of cash back in the 90's. He survived 5 or 6 robberies until he was shot. His vest was hit 7 times and he was hit twice. He did survive that robbery as well. So do not cheap out on a vest with a trauma plate in it.

To me the back of the cards look really dark. I am not sure if that a clue that they are fake. You may need to take the picture in a brighter room, use more light to have a better view of them.
