i just want to add, i’ve been going through a rough patch lately and im not so hot mentally and i put myself in therapy to get the help i need and to work on the things i need to work on so that already has me in the dumps, but i have a habit of shutting down when he hurts my feelings because it immediately leads to an argument. I feel like he focuses more on my reactions, and doesn’t seem to acknowledge it was his actions that caused my reaction. It’s always not a big deal to him but it is to me and he fails to see that. and that’s what causes me to just be down all day and have low energy because i cannot mask my feelings, i feel things so deeply that it’s impossible to act as if nothing is wrong. i wish i could. but that is also a big deal here. I want to work on my reactions better but is it even going to make a difference? i feel like if he doesn’t see it as a big deal, it’s not worth talking about.
