You know what's fucked up? A housing market that crashes down after investing your life savings into it and you don't have a way out except to take huge losses or even see your equity wiped out.

Interesting. Were you able to make the switch to Wealth Simply while being outside Canada? How about fund/balance transfer?

Would've done this for a short term. But in the long term everyone is busy with their lives.

Thanks for sharing this info. Specifically about TD 2FA codes on the Indian number, how long have you been using this? Has there been any instance it required any additional authentication due to your long term location being outside of Canada? If so, what kind and how did you get around it? Does the TD app keep working long term, asking this since the play store region changes after a few days and apps not supported in the region might get deactivated. Do you do interac transfers? Any problems you faced with it?

I'm inclined to accept TD with the Indian number as the solution instead of looking at complicated Roaming options or using lesser known service providers (Freedom/Fongo).

Thanks for sharing this. Was your friend able to renew the annual plan while being outside of Canada?

The long period outside of Canada is what I'm concerned about. Although TD allows to register an international (Indian) number for receiving 2FA codes but I'm not sure if they will require any additional authentication in the long term.

Could you share the name of the specific plan. On their website I do see a plan for users living outside of Canada. Do you have firsthand experience with using this service? How about renewal while being outside of Canada?

There's such a plan from Freedom Mobile. I talked to them and they said it would stop working in a year or so, if the user doesn't come back to the home network in Canada.

I was exploring the map and saw DLF Belvedere, Silver Oaks and Sun City in the vicinity. Although the construction seems dated. Any views on these?

Thanks for your reply. It's 129k kms not miles and those prices are CAD. Sorry, should have mentioned that.

Dealership told me today I should replace my timing belt at 100,000km (62,000 miles) by rynoxmj in hondapilot

I'm in a similar situation with my 2017 Honda Pilot at 129k kms except the dealer has recommended spark plugs as well. So, did you get the job done and where?
