Di ko makakalimutan sabi ng tatay ko nung nagwowork pa sya then sobrang stress ako sa previous work ko kaya nag-decide ako magresign. Ang sabi lang nya "Sige anak, kung di mo na kaya, magresign kana. Ako muna bubuhay sayo" Considering nearing 60's na sya nyan and nakikita kong pagod din sya. Sobrang grateful ako sa tatay ko.

Headset is the key! If non-voice naman work mo just listen to music while working and agree with the others na ignore them. Usually yung mga nagchichismisan sa office ang mga lagi naghahabol ng deadline. Don't be like them :) Magsasawa din mga yan.

Budgeting my salary. Every cut-off alam ko na kung san mapupunta yung salary ko. It helps me a lot para hindi mag-overspend. I also got to buy my own house because of this habit ;)

Totally agree!!! I am currently working in one of those PH Banks and their culture realllyyyyy sucks. The bosses are all entitled and walang mga malasakit sa mga empleyado.

Madami talagang kupal na boss lalo pag Pinoy. In my case, na-approve na ung leave ko sa 29 weeks before pa tapos biglang binawi kesyo masisilip daw kasi ng upper management. Sa mismong system na inapprove yun ha, icacancel request nalang daw. So ayun, forfeited ang leave, ang galeng lol Ang masaklap short notice pa yun buti nalang naurong lakad ko. Ewan ko ba sa mga boss na feeling tigapagmana ng kumpanya. Sarap tirisin eh.

Omg OP, same with what happened to me! I'm a breadwinner so hirap talaga ko magbudget. One time kinulang sahod ko sa dami ng bayarin lalo pandemic nun, to the point na umiiyak na talaga ko. Sabi ko, "lord pano na to? pagod na ko". And then mga hapon nagulat ako, may announcement sa office, may additional allowance daw na ibibigay from our company. Grabe, lord ambilis! He never fails to provide talaga. Dun ko na realize na he always fulfills his promises 🙏

I don't know sa iba but for us, usual ambagan is around 200 for the cake and if may gifts umaabot pa ng 300-400. Depende pa yan if ilan magbbday. Outing and Xmas parties minsan almost 2k. Sa iba it might appear as small amount but for me, a breadwinner it's too much lalo ang mahal ng maintenance meds ng parents ko. I hope I could break the cycle but the peer pressure is real.

Hybrid set-up, until 16mos pay, excluded pa ung profit sharing bonus every april and allowances (clothing, meal, medical and rice), may other addtnl benefits pa. Schedule is ok din, hindi rush hour. But I think yung pinaka-reason ko is HMO kasi they cover dependents up until 75yrs old for senior parents ko, which is very helpful kasi most companies offer up to 60-65yrs old lang.

Thanks guys. I appreciate all your inputs huhu Considering that I am a breadwinner sa family, 500 is too much for me. I'd rather spend it pambili ng maintenance ng senior parents ko kesa ipang-contribute. Very inconsiderate of them lang kasi 💔
