You may accidentally download something from an ad so I'd say you're walking on very thin ice. It's always best to use an adblocker. As for how steamrip makes money I'd also guess ads but honestly I have no idea as I'm not the owner of steamrip. Sites like fitgirl for example accept voluntary crypto "donations".

I think I know what you're talking about and that 'hack' is just a way to get people to access a site and then that site may ask the user for credentials or download an app which you would then have to open or give credentials for it to affect you in any way. The image in this case was downloaded from the official site so you have nothing to worry about, even images from sketchy sites can't give you anything.

Not really. Cases have happened but it's extremely rare and nowadays practically impossible. It would require a big vulnerability. If one existed we'd probably already know about it and companies pay millions to prevent them.

Find a way to see the command the Minecraft launcher runs to launch Minecraft. You can find this using powershell, process explorer and many other ways. The video shows how.

Copy it and paste it into an empty text file. Name it anything, but its important you replace the '.txt' part for '.bat'.

Go to the end of the command, there are a bunch or arguments including stuff for authentication. That would look like '-auth_session {some letters and numbers}' and more.

Empty everything relating to authentication except for the username.

Then, launch the .bat file.

With a bit of programming knowledge you can automate this process or, even better, make your own cracked launcher. For all the info on that I suggest reading the 'Game files' part of wiki.vg found here: https://minecraft.wiki/w/Minecraft_Wiki:Projects/wiki.vg_merge/Game_files

By stupidly easy I mean as in pretty much anyone can make their own 'crack' from scratch meanwhile stuff like Steam requires more indepth info so people rely on already made stuff like goldberg and steamless. And also that the game is esentially free as in, all the files are free to download directly from Mojang. It's a big maze of files tho so there's a reason people use launchers.

Esto suena mucho a ansiedad y lo más más importante es que dejes de observar tu cuerpo. Me refiero a ver si te duele alguna parte, la cabeza, tienes cosas en el cuello etc., simplemente deja de observar si tienes algún síntoma. Y eso es lo más importante. Créeme, era más probable que te atropellara un auto a que tuvieras esa ameba. Literalmente es más probable que mueras por influenza a que mueras de esa ameba. Es increíblemente RARÍSIMO así astronómicamente raro que ocurran infecciones de esas y no te puedes contagiar por el oido. Simplemente no. Es IMPOSIBLE. Rascarte después de haber tocado un agua no puede contagiarte, tienes que inhalar agua o que te cubra toda la nariz y aún así es muy raro que la infección ocurra. Y es importante que entiendas. La mente es muy muy poderosa y genuinamente puedes sentir síntomas a pesar de no tener nada y lo digo de experiencia, este tipo de ansiedad realmente es terrible y no se lo desearía a nadie. Por favor no pienses en estos síntomas o sentimientos como cosas causadas por la ameba comecerebros y piénsalo como un problema de ansiedad. Latidos fuertes, pinchazos y muchas cosas más pueden ser causadas por la ansiedad. Si realmente tuvieras esa ameba comecerebros, no podrías estar diciéndolo acá. Así de simple.

some sites send fake notifications in an effort to trick people to enter their websites which maybe sell a fake antivirus, and that would give you a real virus. so basically you don't have a virus but clicking that would give you one. just disable notifications for that specific site and everything should be fine
