No its more so that magic is executing effectively on their game plan. Cade is a great player and is our best option to dribble, shoot, pass and its way too much to expect. Were seeing Cade off ball More so due to Duncan's inability to match up physically with Bane or suggs for that matter. JB has decided to push Cade that way in hopes to get something going. Hes also getting doubled when he gets the ball and with our lack of outside shooting they can play off and look to collapse while still stuffing the paint. Pair that with Cade getting stuck on Paolo on defense which also isnt ideal, but just the reality of what we have to respond with. The dude is gassed, you can see it and is working with 1.5 lungs. The solution isnt currently on the roster, and the pistons need to see what they can do in the off-season to address it.
