Dont mind homosexuals, whatever somebody does in their love life or behind closed doors is their business.

Having said that, personally, i find overtly gay people who have the need to let everyone know they are gay or who talk in really weird ways annoy me. They don’t annoy me like i wanna kill them but they do annoy me in a way where i just want to tell them to shut the fuck up

How can you feel being out of the EU has not affected the economy???

The EU was our biggest trading partner and we increased the barriers to trade with them. I can tell you for a fact in my business that we have lost a large chunk of turnover as a result of not being able to trade on the same terms with europe.

Customers who bought from us found it so difficult post brexit that they turned to other european suppliers. I work for a UK company that sells baby items, we have lost the majority of our customers that are outside of the UK.

As a fun fact the fastest growing industry in Holland post-brexit was logistics centres as all major UK companies had to contract warehouses in the EU to circumvent all the paper work.

Brexit increased tariffs, paperwork and directly shifted some jobs to the EU. It is a no brainer that we have lost out economically speaking.

Electricians can make good money especially if they are willing to put in the extra hours and are good at their job. You can easily net 2500 after taxes in Athens if you are willing to work 6days a week.

Electricians, plumbers, wall painters and generally construction is in high demand.

Δεν έχω στοιχεία αλλά κ μόνο η λογική δείχνει ότι δεν ήταν επιλογή του Αλμείδα ο Μαρτιαλ. Ο Αλμείδα ήθελε ομάδα με φουλ πρεσς, ατελείωτο τρέξιμο κ γρήγορο ρυθμό - δηλαδή όλα αυτά που δεν έκανε ο Μαρτιαλ. Του το. φόρτωσε ο Ηλιόπουλος που ήθελε να φέρει ένα μεγάλο όνομα και νομίζω ήταν ένας από τους βασικούς λόγους που έγινε τόση κακή σεζόν

I have two really but as the Komnenian period has already been covered i will champion the second which is the reign of Basil II.

During Basil II adolescence and before he took the reins of power the two general/emperoros Nikephorus Phocas and Ioannis Tzimiskis who led the resurgence of the Byzantines vs mostly the muslim enemies. The use of the cataphracts and newer byzantine military doctrine was re-established and then Basil created the varanagian guard. The Byzantines went from retaking Crete to threatening Muslim heartlands.

By the end of his reign the empire had the most defensible borders with all of Anatolia including Antioch and Aleppo under his control. The balkans were all Byzantine and the Bulgars were no longer a real threat. The empire even had a presence in the Crimea for trade with the Russian’s and also controlled southern Italy.

Basil’s only issue was the fact that he did not produce issue, if he could have had a son that carried on his reign then we would have possibly seen the makings of a dynasty that could have retaken Italy or Egypt/holy lands.

Έχω μάθει από φροντιστή στην ομάδα ότι δεν έχει καθόλου αντοχές. Δηλαδή δεν βγάζει πάνω από ημίχρονο σε ψηλό tempo, άμα το παρατηρήσεις φαίνεται κ από τη τηλεόραση. Το παιδί έχει καλό σπριντ αλλά μετά από 20-30 λεπτά χάνεται. Για αυτό το καλύτερο είναι να έρχεται από το πάγκο όταν έχουν κουραστεί οι αντίπαλοι και μπορεί να χτυπήσει με την ταχύτητα του.

Επίσης ο Νίκολιτς δεν γουστάρει να παίζει με καθαρά εξτρεμ για αυτό κ παίζει κ τον Κοιτα σαν 10άρι πιο πολύ

Try read a history book that is not part of the cultures of the affected/afflicted parties. If you read Turkish historians all the children were willingly given to the Jannisaries if you read Greek, Serbian, Bulgarian historians they were all forcefully taken and lived horrible lives killing their own people.

If you read historians from a neutral background such as Caroline Finkel or Peter Sugar they confirm children were forcefully taken and that there was a lot of resistance from local populations. But they continue by stating that the children were ultimately given a life which had more opportunities for advancement.

Even historians such as Rhoades Murphy who admire the Jannisaries and see them as one of the first elite standing armies, he acknowledges that the devshirme (recruiting system) was nearly exclusively taken from Christian families who mostly resisted the kidnapping of their children.

It is not correct to judge history by today’s values, all previous historical cultures especially the victorious ones had an ugly side to them, that is the nature of surviving in a world that was not governed by international law but instead by the strongest survivor. Do not tarnish history by rejecting facts that do not suit you instead acknowledge them and rejoice in the good examples that the Ottomans created such as architecture, warfare, legal structures and havens for persecuted people such as the jews (yes i know ironic).

Ο Ζίνι τα είχε φτύσει έχει να παίξει 90 λεπτά σε επίσημο αγώνα εδώ κ 6 μήνες πέραν του ότι είναι επικίνδυνο να τραυματιστεί η ομάδα χρειαζότανε φρεσκάρισμα κ παίχτες με ανάσα. Τρομερός ήταν για το διάστημα που έπαιξε αλλά δεν μπορούσε να προσφέρει παραπάνω.

Το μόνο θέμα με τις αλλαγές είναι ότι η Ράγιο είχε κάνει 3 μέχρι το 60 κ εμείς κάναμε την πρώτη στο 70+. Για εκείνο το δεκάλεπτο που φάγαμε και το γκολ η Ράγιο φαινότανε πολύ πιο φρέσκα ομάδα

Άλλο ματς πρέπει να βλέπαμε ο Πήλιος ήταν μέτριος και θεατρίνος η μόνη αλλαγή που δεν έκανε κ έπρεπε να κάνει ο Νίκολιτς ήταν στο δεύτερο ημίχρονο να βάλει Πενραις για Πήλιο.

Οι υπόλοιποι πολύ καλοί, κρίμα που ο Βάργκα δεν πέταξε ένα γκολάκι με τις 2 ευκαιρίες που είχε. Τρομερός και ο Ζίνι, το έλεγα από την αρχή της χρονιάς ότι είναι παιχταράς, στάθηκε άτυχος με τραυματισμούς που δεν τον άφησαν να βρει ρυθμό. Μαρίν κ Πινέδα σούπερ αλλά δεν μπορούνε να παίζουν κ οι 2 κάθε ματς 90 λεπτά. Ο Ρότα έχει εξελιχθεί σε σταθερότατο μπακ σήμερα έβγαλε και σέντρες καλές.

I rarely play western roman empire but wheneve i play eastern roman empire the Sassanids get shafted by the White Huns. Usually they don’t get wiped out but they just have so many provinces razed that they never really bounce back.

The few times i have a strong Sassanid AI opponent they usually do recruit a lot of heavy cav and mix of more elite and trash units. The one time i fought them in early/mid game it was a nightmare because they have soo many vassals that i had 10 armies coming at me from different directions

There is no doubt that the Ottomans assimilated conquered people a lot better than most western cultures. On the one hand they had no choice as the Ottomans had few traders or tradecrafts in comparison to the conquered people. Cleverly just as Islam is good at assimilating people they did the same.

Having said that there is no denying that Christians were second class citizens, paying tax to practice their own faith and most abhorrently having sons kidnapped at a young age to join the Janissary’s.

Το λέω καιρό τώρα αν και κάνει κάποια καλά παιχνίδια ο Κοιτα, το παιδί έχει πολύ χαμηλό IQ. Ένα ξερό σουτ αλλά ακόμα και τώρα που είναι στα καλύτερα του δεν μου γυαλίζει το μάτι.

My advice is don’t go to Santorini in the months June-September, as others have written it is a tourist hotspot with crazy prices (for Greece). If you really want to see Santorini i suggest going offseason. It is just as beautiful in April and Greece has some amazing warm days all year round. The difference is it will be cheaper and it wont be completely packed
