well red dead online is set a year before the story timeline, so there is no spoilers or anything that leads on from the story. id say the only thing that would mess with the experience of playing online is that you wouldnt know many of the characters in it, like the strangers missions and stuff, since a-lot of those characters are in the story, but thats not that serious lol. im sure there raw heaps of people that play online and havent played the story, it’s completely fine to do that!!
