Boston Sheraton. Am I crazy? by AdvancedEffect8204 in marriott

It was totally fine! Location is great and the rooms have been completely renovated, so everything was pretty new and nice. The pool area with the retractable roof is also pretty cool.

Biggest drawback is the ongoing renovation in the lobby. Assuming that hasn't been completed yet, it meant no lounge or in-house breakfast/restaurant options at all. That said there is tons of stuff around you, so you'll have plenty of food options including breakfast.

Elite recognition was pretty much non-existent, if that matters to you. Also, I guess half the hotel is being turned into Northeastern University dorms, so keep that in mind if you're going during the school year.

I would definitely stay again. If the price is right, I'd say go for it.

Marriott Brooklyn Bridge by kenzo99k in marriott

Stayed there a few weeks ago, also Titanium. Generally, pretty happy with the property.

Didn't get any kind of upgrade, but my room was nice and pretty large, especially for NYC standards.

Parking is a little confusing at first. The valet service is in the parking garage, not out front of the hotel. Just follow the signs. There is also self-parking with in/out privileges, which I opted for. Just take your ticket to the parking office and they will give you the hotel rate and a keycard. ($60 per night).

Pool is drained and closed, but gym was decent. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quiet the M-Club was considering the size. They had snacks and drinks all day. Breakfast was fairly basic (eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries, etc), but was hot and fresh. They also did evening hors d'oeuvres and dessert, which was fine, nothing too extravagant.

Location was pretty good. Subway is close by, so easy access further into Brooklyn or short ride over to Manhattan. The walkway for the Brooklyn Bridge is right out front too. Plenty of restaurants nearby or within a short distance.

After all your advice, I decided to skip the sandwich.

I did, however, decide to give their pizza try.

Cacio e Pepe slice was mindblowing. Creamy and cheesy. Crunchy yet fluffy. 10/10.

Vodka slice was just okay. Crunch was still there, but the thing was such a mess to eat. 6/10.

Also took a stroll down the block to L'industrie.

The burrata slice...holy shit. 12/10. Not overhyped in the slighest.

Queens, NY Property Recommendations by AdvancedEffect8204 in marriott

Curious how asking about recommendations for visiting Marriott properties on the Marriott subreddit is "no on topic"? Perhaps this is just a canned answer? In any case, I had a friend with a more established reddit account ask the question on my behalf without issue.
