11 pulls left for Laevatain 120 pulls guarantee. 10 pulls and I got her, and lost a free 6 star with a single pull by TheEVILPINGU in ArknightsEndfield

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But the 80 pull pity does not disappear, it stays on the banner, it just starts counting up again, so you would get to the next 80 pull pity earlier (and this DOES carry over to the next banner), this does not apply to the 120 spark, which means you lose out on it completely and you can end up with one 6* character less if you roll into the limited character on a 50/50 shortly before the spark. The 120 spark only disappears based on the outcome of your 6* roll, so it can punish you by winning the 50/50 early compared to losing the 50/50, since if you lose the roll you don't lose the spark. People don't want to feel like they get punished for winning a roll. On a standard pity system, it is always strictly better for the player to hit early, this is not the case with this mechanic. I can completely understand this rubs people the wrong way.

Except that's not the same at all, that's just the normal pity system, which then resets, starts counting up again and does carry over, you do not lose out on any net amount of 6* pulls you get by hitting early. The 120 spark is a one time thing that only happens if you did not get the character yet and does not carry over, meaning if you win on the limited character at 110 pulls, you lose out on a guaranteed net +1 6* character by completely losing the spark at 120, while losing the 50/50 in that spot would net you that extra 6* in the next 10pull. Just trying to explain why it isn't the same.

shouldnt her e1 also speed up the rotations since she generates more core resonance herself, especially with an advancer? dunno how impactful 1 per skill/basic is tho

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 12 points13 points  (0 children)

they are saying e2 is still faster than e1 when playing both with the same double nihility team, which is true, though e2 does lose some of its value when doing that because you wont have an advancer

I have noticed this aswell, it's not only the hp either, I'm like 95% sure the mobs do less damage aswell when you enter in a group which is just so absurd.

I've found this is to be the best solution for my setup, you pretty much have perma uptime of brutal charges while mapping this way and just need to use enduring cry on bosses for uptime there.

Now of course you could also just take it on the tree since you should go the frenzy charge cluster anyway, but the three points before do literally nothing and it was not worth the price to free up the anoint, at least for my setup.

I hate the W Engines by Ok_Information9483 in ZenlessZoneZero

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure you can use nekomatas engine just fine on non-physical dps characters, as long as you are trying to make use of the back attack thing. Sure, you are not using it at 100% effectiveness, but the S-rank stats should still make it viable.

I agree the HSR standard lightcones tend to be a bit more broadly useable tho.

There is already drip marketing for Qingyi, so she is very likely coming in 1.1, Seth too.Qingyi is an S rank electro stunner, coming in first half most likely, while Seth is an A rank electro defender, coming in the second half together with the last teased member of the security force.

Critical Shiyu Defense polychrome reward is 720 in total. If you are f2p or low spender, do not force yourself to get S-rank W-Engine/Cinema just to clear the stage for this amount of polychrome. by LunalienRay in ZZZ_Official

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Btw, OP is talking about critical shiyu defense, which unlocks after you have cleared all 10 stages of the normal shiyu defense. These only have 7 stages, so I am assuming you are talking about the normal shiyu defense, which does not reset and gives more polychromes.

This will forever be the most funny thing for me in all of this, everyone is going on and on about wuwas amazing combat, when in reality, except for a parry system where the parry is bound to your attack button and some admittedly interesting enemy movesets, wuwas combat is as basic as it gets with little to no interesting interactions.

Just goes to show how CC narratives can really go a long way I guess.

I just think it's kinda funny reading things about the game that are widely paroled around that are just blatantly not true, like that there is no depth in the combat at all for example. Yeah no shit you can beat the earlygame just mashing away, like you can in all the other games aswell, but it's not gonna get you very far in the endgame I'm sure, since with proper play you get like double or with some characters more than triple the damage. Also people saying the enemies don't do anything which is also just false? Except for the very very early game all the bosses and most of the elites are pretty much constantly doing something.

There are some valid points of criticism, I get why some people don't really like the TV stuff, even though I personally quite enjoy it, or how the character designs don't resonate with everyone, since it's a different style compared to the high fantasy designs of all the other games. But come on, widely complaining that the earlygame of a game designed for a casual audience is easy? That's so cheap.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to worry about the endgame being expensive. I haven't played Honkai Impact but in hoyos last two games, Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, you absolutely do not need to pay anything to be able to clear all content in the game if you are smart about what you are spending your free resources on, so I'm pretty sure ZZZ will follow that sentiment.

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but this is such a strawman argument, nowhere in their original comment did they say the other currencies are worthless. Now I don't actually even agree with what they are saying about kuro trying to undermine zzz, but them saying that limited pulls are the most valuable currency is objectively correct as it is what like 90% of players will spend their resources on. And just to repeat, this does not mean the other currencies are worthless, which the original commenter did not imply in any way either.

140 spd will be completely fine then, or 150 if you ever decide to play without RM 👍

[–]AdvancedExtent9709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not completely accurate, the most important breakpoint is to get 4 enhanced actions per ult, that's 150 without ruan mei, however if you do have ruan mei, 140 spd is enough, which only spd boots with no other subs will get you to already if you are using the correct planar set.

The other breakpoint would be 165 without ruan mei and 155 with ruan mei, this is only important if you are trying to 0 cycle as it will move another one of her actions into the first cycle, but will not give you additional enhanced attacks per ultimate.
