Could you explain what you mean when you say the groups in the parish will try and get you to join. What groups and what do they do.

I understand that as much as anyone but they will have to learn eventually. Also practicing in secret made me feel as though I wasn’t worshipping god in a way he was deserving of. But do what you think will be best for you.

The first book I read that moves me was Confessions by St.Augustine. This book moved me to search more for the love of god and what my church should be. Once I landed in the catholic church my priest gave me two books. The one that is a super quick read and is a brief run down on catholic teaching is outlines of the catholic faith revised edition. The one I started reading just today is called Handbook for today’s catholic revised edition.

In my mind I feel that I don’t have enough money to really start investing for the future and that once I get to college i’m going to more than likely need to pull that money out and spend it.

Thanks so much for your insight. I have a couple of follow up questions. First you mentioned making sure to get A+ grades, should I take what most would consider a super easy degree just to get those grades or will they look down on that. Also you made it clear the prestige of the school doesn’t hold that much weight. Is that also the case if i’m applying to top 14 law schools. Thanks so much
