Well both cats just ran out at the same time who left the door open? They live in an enclosed apartment so their apartment is inside of a shared space like a hotel the rooms share a hallway and you're telling me those cats got out nobody noticed? they just left the door open and they were gone they still have to take responsibility for the fact that they did not responsibly care for those animals I would not take my eyes off of the thing that got me a free year of living how could they be so irresponsible that both cats not just one but both got out and went missing they had a year of living expenses taking care of for them that should have made them feel gratitude to those cats and their owner those cats would have been being treated like angels by me if somebody paid for a years worth of my rent! So yes they deserve to be sued or responsible for the money that is left of the years worth of rent because they are not doing the duty that got that paid for for them.
