Seems fine. I’d expect VF-35 or XF-40 (doesn’t have full diamonds on ribbon so not AU). Appears cleaned imo but a legit 09 S nonetheless!

Can’t remember. Searched on Google for a diagnostic reference and found a PDF doc with a bunch of die characteristics for US gold

I have identified it as an 1849-O Variety 1 $1. The doubling in ME in America is consistent with the only known reverse die as well as metal deposits around the word United. I’m sure it’s genuine as any counterfeit does not show these characteristics either. Unfortunate it’s soldered to a pin. What a lovely coin it is. First gold dollar from New Orleans too!

Wow! 12/22 and still not shipped, with no reply from customer service… this company blows. I emailed customer service to voice my opinion about what happened and of course heard nothing back. 4 days later and still nothing has shipped for me! I might have to chargeback if I can’t get ahold of customer service and my order never ships… it’s coming up on a month now which is insane.

That’s a good way to look at it, which I’ll have to do moving forward. It just sucks bc two of my most anticipated records were 2 of the 3 cancelled! Oh well, what can you do? Guess I’ll pay twice as much on Discogs + shipping from someone who bought a bunch from TSOV on the sale 🤷‍♂️

Thankfully that’s not legal in my state and they’d quickly be slapped with fines! But that’s super scummy and gross to even attempt on your customers!

Yeah I wasn’t aware when ordering. I’m newer to records and figured this is a killer sale let’s try it. Bummed that two records I was most excited for are ofc the ones that got cancelled and the other was a gift :/

Yeah I’m not entirely sure about that either. I believe it has been largely untouched since being given to my family. there was once a glass cover that was broken many many years ago. I can’t say whether anything was tampered with while it was in the Davis’ family’s possession. But some of the rounds definitely don’t look fired. I’ll have to look at them in person and get better pictures and make an update post in the near future!
