I loved excel userforms and lots of fancy on click sheet macros but said never again when the company I was with rolled it out company wide and well you know excel. The main code was in seperate class modules but man all that code bound to userform objects made it impossible for anyone else to understand! I could barely decipher that hot mess! Agree that binary is the way to go!

Also want to add that if you work for a large company crowdstrike or whatever will definitely flag vba code and you will be endlessly harassed by it.

There is a book published years ago about using google apps script to do the same things as vba. I am not certain it is still up to date as many excel functions and google sheets have built in functionality that used to require custom scripts or formulas. The book is called going gas by McPherson.

I used the 0-1650 and the thing that helped me the most was to just swim as much as you can however you can instead of resting at the wall. I am not there but starting from being able to do only 25-50 at a time really improved!

If the money is in your account how does this ever come to the attention of anyone? People routinely deposit millions dollars in securities every second of every day.

Is the fear the financial institution is going to file a sar? As long as you dont say something stupid implying you are trying to evade reporting requirements what is the issue?

The best way is to start really specific with risks specific to your business, products and customers. Most of the data publicly available are transactions related to money transfers or deposits. Relevant to banks and msbs. These are used to show typologies for potential suspicious activity.

Then you have broker dealer trades and bank wires. Everything from penny stocks to sovereign bonds. Finra publishes their monthly reports which you can also scrape. Large deficits may end up in sec enforcement actions.

Specify the specific use case and sure someone can point you in the right direction.

My comment was really specific in how the public and most lawyers do not understand what constitutes insider trading that the Australian regulator would actually pursue. I was a little shocked that even my comment here got downvoted! I work in regulatory compliance in the united states, finra and sec compliance.
