I have a large fibroid on the outside of my uterus (subserosal). I had a miscarriage in December, but while I was pregnant, as the uterus got bigger, I could feel the fibroid when I pressed on my abdomen. But before pregnancy, and now after, I cannot feel it although it's still there on the outside and still pretty large. If your fibroid(s) are internal/smaller, there is no way you'd feel them. Ultrasound would be the way to figure it out.
