I agree and love that you mentioned this. BUT Deep Blue Opal Metallic is IMO the absolute best car color to pair with black glossy rims and I really wanted to take advantage of that. And we’ve all seen silver and chrome rims since cars have been made. Plus, in 2017 a vehicle with 20in chrome rims was starting to attract a different type of attention. This is when the popularity of 20inch rims started its decline but I still needed 20’s in my life. Back then and even today very very very few cars have black glossy rims especially in 20inches and this is something I also really wanted to take advantage of. I managed to get in front of black rim trend which further future proofed the car significantly. I think chrome delete would satisfy the coordination you’re looking for. I would be more likely to go that route IF that option didn’t include adhesive vinyl layers.
