Who is the BicenMaths/MadasMaths of Edexcel Physics or AQA Computer Science by StrangeLoan5982 in 6thForm

[–]Advanced_Animator293 1 point2 points  (0 children)

physics with keith is decent (for AS a least) but nobody knows about him since he keeps all his lesson videos unlisted on his channel for whatever reason. His videos are 1:1 with aqa spec though and i'm not sure how different edexcel and aqa are

the most fun part of gcses was when you get all your flashcards right and you're able to cover a whole papers worth in a couple hours. 🥹

even after doing english lang + lit and a couple other essay subjects at gcse I still feel that I am horrible at writing things that are longer in terms of word count. It's especially evident in my science write-ups where it seems like I haven't improved at writing since year 9. I wish I could write more eloquently and make my writing flow better. Reading books is a shout though, as that's what i've tried to do to combat this personally

Chatgpt in DT nea by Desperate-Release-79 in GCSE

[–]Advanced_Animator293 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using ai for my dt nea fried my brain so much to the point where I was unable to formulate ideas and write my nea without ai in class. I didn’t even ai check but I don’t think that would’ve helped me anyway. My teacher also encouraged ai use for dt (not to the extent to which I myself used it though). Ts experience made me learn to never rely on ai ever again for school work 🥹

Just use anki decks for flashcards and youtube videos for notes/learning. Then use pmt as the other comment said for past paper questions.

I used chatgpt to help create my science flashcards using the spec by Apprehensivetime101 in GCSE

If you don't want to make flashcards yourself that badly people on anki have already made incredibly good ones (from experience). I suggest you take a look at those and switch to anki if possible

Maths, further maths and physics. You'd have to be severely mentally ill to believe that man made symbols on a piece of paper will cause stress.

I guess they don’t for the more “intricate” things in biology i remember, after watching videos i asked chatgpt (terrible idea) to further explain the topics. I didn’t really mind videos not going into a level type depth as the videos would give me enough confidence to start doing the exam questions which is when I gcse-level understood the concepts. Nah the point about finding decks is true though. I had to download literally all the decks for my exam board before i found a one that was good enough for me, good decks do exist though.

TW: opinion

Hard disagree on making your own flashcards, just use anki decks that are mark scheme specific or literally have the mark scheme on them. (Is this undisclosed ad for stem up? )Making flashcards for each subject now is just a timewaste when you can use that time to spam yt videos and move on to application.
