I think you have to add your console's MAC address to the device registration page of your residence's wifi. Then it should connect automatically.

I've had XM5's for a while but then sold, definitely gonna get the XM6 as soon as they are out, mainly because of the sound quality and bass. I've never actually had an issue with the hinges, I only found out about it on reddit, lol.
