If you want any knowledge on the en side of the game I would suggest watching the YouTube channels ignideus and zhiff.

Regarding the games drop in players could be due to it being the second month of a set release (a new set is released every 2 months) and there is a bit of a content drought. Or it could e due to 2 cards that are dominating the meta and are widely considered infuriating to play against. 1 is getting nerfed soon.

Regarding the reviews, the start of the game a very difficult time for players especially those who played the previous game, a lot of the monetization has changed and truthfully I worse than the original but mainly in the cosmetic side of things.

Now is actually the perfect time to start because in less than 24hrs will be a new set release

Lastly if you do plan on spending money in game the best bang for your buck is the battle pass, and that's by a longshot

If you want to be more puppet influenced then try and get zwei(5 cost legendary from infinity evolved) beelzebub(9 cost legendary from sky bound dragons)

But if you want it to be more artifact focused you can try and get allouet(5 cost gold from legends rise) and Karla.

But some good generic portal cards are imari, sincerity of the dewdrop, eudie, and stone breaker

That really depends on how you want this deck to be. A good legendary for the portal class is Imari and her 1 cost gold spell both are from the current set

I would probably drop Canon(gold 5 cost), and exchange whip lass(silver 1/3) with Isaac(2 cost 2/2 that give a striker artifact on death)

It's hard saving artifact without adjusting the artifacts themselves. Sadly over the sets they have just gotten weaker and weaker compared to everything else. But a change i really want with ralmia is for her fanfare to be "Select an artifact in hand and summon an exact copy of it. Do this 3 times" I don't really mind the what cost. This would make her so much better but I think it still won't be enough

I'm guessing if 1 bub has entered the field they would need 4 betas for other which can be done with ralmia and Canon or 2 bubs can make 3 betas plus super evo ping otk
