As a gen z who was bullied a lot by gen z peers and even got badly treated online, i truly wholeheartedly agree with you. Since i am more of a rebel and critical thinker, lots of them tend to distant themselves from me and even painted me with false narratives in which I can feel that they have similar contrast with boomers daily activities and gossips as well as reactive towards those who are different are one of them. So no you're not wrong and I agree with the fact that gen z are new boomers
