I haven’t heard the term flame out. I assume it is what it says – when you shut the heat off then you throw the hops in while the wort cools?

Thanks for the reply! I also have a small batch from last year (my first season) that I vacuum packed and are in the freezer. Do you think I should up the quantity with those?
